Inter Pacific Bar Association (IPBA)

IPBA - an association of lawyers and corporate lawyers who primarily practice in Asia and the Pacific region. The organisation is the world leader with regard to Asian legal systems and conducting business in Asia, with around 2,000 affiliated lawyers in 67 countries worldwide. Ekenberg & Andersson’s active involvement in the organisation gives us an extensive network of contacts to the benefit of our clients in the region.

International Bar Association (IBA)

IBA works at an international level to reform and develop the legal profession. The organisation’s goals include supporting national bar associations, particularly those currently being built up, and to promote lawyers’ human rights worldwide. Ekenberg & Andersson’s staff are actively involved in IBA.

Ekenberg & Andersson Advokatbyrå har advised China Travel Service in the sale of Svensk-Kinesiska Resebyrån AB

Ekenberg & Andersson has advised the stock exchange listed Chinese company group China Travel Service in the sale of the Swedish subsidary Svensk-Kinesiska Resebyrån AB to management. Svensk-Kinesiska Resebyrån AB was the first Swedish travel agency that offered organized tourist travel to China, starting in 1978. The company is still among the Swedish market leaders within the sale of group- and custom travels to China and Southeast Asia.

Ekenberg & Andersson recruits attorney Jonas Rogberg

With a special focus on M&A, Jonas will lead the firm's work on the Asian markets, particularly China. He was previously a sinologist at the Swedish Embassy in Beijing and has since 2007 been working at the Corporate Finance Department of Delphi Law Firm with a key role in the firm's China practice. As a Mandarin speaking Swedish lawyer, Jonas will assist both Swedish companies with their business in the region and such Asian companies that have interests in the Swedish market.
