The lawyers who work in Ekenberg & Andersson’s tax law department have in-depth experience of providing advice on tax-related matters. We handle all types of tax, such as income tax, employers’ contributions, value added tax, customs, and excise duties. Our lawyers have extensive experience of working with family firms and large corporate groups alike.

Our tax law department has comprehensive experience in the fields of both Swedish and international tax law. We provide assistance in connection with dividend issues, generation shifts, taking possession and removals, buying and selling companies, set-ups, restructuring, internal pricing, due diligence, etc. As a member of one of the world’s biggest commercial law networks, the International Lawyers Network, we work with leading law firms worldwide.

Audits and tax cases

Tax cases account for a substantial part of our operations. Our experience of disputes involving all types of tax has been gained over many years working in this field. We also provide assistance with ongoing tax audits.

Employers’ issues and payment liabilities

Our lawyers handle issues of all kinds relating to the role of the employer and provide assistance in disputes involving employers’ issues and payment liability. We also provide assistance with issues involving subcontractors, registration for corporate taxation, employees, benefits, and share warrant programmes and other incentive systems, etc.

Value added tax

In addition to the general advice we provide on value added tax, such as VAT on real estate, we provide assistance with VAT cases. Our global network allows us to cooperate with lawyers in other countries, both inside and outside the EU.
